Run for the Sun

This is a once in a lifetime event! The course, starting from Downtown Maupin will take you on a 15 mile journey through beautiful back country and finish at the Solar Eclipse viewing party. BBQ lunch included!  

TOTAL Solar Eclipse
The first total solar eclipse in the USA since 1979! Run to the Sun will offer a large viewing area for runners and their family members. The solar eclipse will be bringing thousands of spectators from all over the country. 

Camping + Imperial River Company
Camping will be available for an additional $50 per person. The Imperial River Company is allowing tent space on their nicely groomed lawn, right along the Deschutes River. The Imperial River Company has a Restaurant and Bar within walking distance for any additional needs!

SHUTTLE
A shuttle will be provided to and from the Solar Eclipse viewing party!
