_ 5K Purple Run for Rett 2017:
The Pell City High School’s Key Club will host its second annual Purple Run for Rett on March 18, 2017 at the Pell City Lakeside Park. The run will be a color run (only purple) style 5k, and one-mile fun run. Purple color powder will be thrown! The Key Club will be working as part of Julie’s Army of Hope to raise money and awareness for Rett Syndrome. All proceeds from the event will benefit two Rett Syndrome organizations: Girl Power 2 Cure and the Southeastern Rett Syndrome Alliance (SRSA).
Early Online Registration ends March 1, 2016. On Site Registration from 7-9 AM March 18, 2017. An additional $5 will be added to registration fee at on site registration. (T-Shirts not guaranteed after March 1.)
T-Shirt and Bag Pick Up: During on site registration from 7-9 AM March 18. Please arrive early and prepare to pick up bags/t-shirts and sign waivers before the start of the 5K or 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk.
Event Schedule: 5K begins at 8:00 AM and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk begins at 9:30 AM

Waivers and ID: Please bring ID to pickup and on day of the race. There will be a waiver on site you will need to sign. If you are under 18, your parents will need to sign this waiver.
Food and water will be available. Awards will be given at 9:00.
What to Wear: Purple Run for Rett T-Shirt or a white T-Shirt
Note: Purple Color Powder (non-toxic and biodegradable) will be thrown!
