- Little Heart Warriors Non-Profit was created by a group of mothers with children with severe Congenital Heart Defects. We want to share our story with others and educate our community, as well as pay it forward to help as many families during their own journey with Congenital Heart Disease. With 40,000 CHD babies born each year, CHD is the #1 birth defect in the United States. Because of all our supporters, this will be our 6th annual 5K and 1K Family Fun Run. We can not thank you enough and are looking forward to seeing you all soon. Thank you for helping us pay it forward and make a difference one step at a time!

Course Information
5K Route |
| - The 5K route will line up in the coned off street near the grass oval in between the 2 parking lots of Central Park. The Start will be facing North-east. - When the 5K Run begins, the runners will be heading North East strait up to the paved path directly to the Pacific Electric Trail. They will make an immediate right continuing on the paved path until right before Milliken where the trail heads North to make a U-turn now heading West bound onto now the Dirt running path. They will continue West on the Dirt path past the Wash continuing back on the Dirt running path until right before getting to Haven. - Once runners reach Haven they will make a U-turn and come back towards Milliken in an East Bound direction, now on the Paved part of the Pacific Electric Trail. - Runners will then pass the Wash again only this time will make an immediate right turn directly after passing. They will now be heading South along side the East side of the Wash onto the newly paved trail. - Runners will then make a left at the designated area to run along Baseline Road and will now be on the side-walk. Runners will continue running in an East Bound Direction along Baseline to the corner of Milliken Ave. - Runners will then make a left turn while continuing on the sidewalk heading North bound on Milliken Ave. - While making their final turn, the runners will turn left, back into the entrance of Central Park and run in a West bound direction to the finish line! |
1K Route |
| - The 1K Family Heart Walk will line upon the North side of the grass oval on the sidewalk. - Walker will start walking in a West bound direction around the outer sidewalk loop. The walkers will do two full laps and finish back at the Starting/Finish line. |
STROLLERS ARE WELCOMED AND ENCOURAGED TO TRY THE 5K!
Everyone please arrive early to check in at registration to recieve your Bib number.
All 5k participants will also be recieving their Goodie Bag ad T-shirt at this time. We will do our best with t-shirt sizes as we can not guarentee sizes due to last min registrations. PLEASE HELP US WITH SIZES BY REGISTERING EARLY!
As much as we love pets, please do NOT bring your furry friends as we have many children with allergies as well as they are very fragile with severe medical conditions.
