Weekend Blessings 5K & 10K in the Park...

• 5k Run:- Run 3.1 Miles
• 10k Run:- Run 6.2 Miles

The Weekend Blessings 5k in the PArk takes place in the beautiful George L Smith State Park. Take the beautiful scenic route, mostly under the shade trees, through the park  overlooking the water. You will get a view of the cabins, the kayaks and much more the park has to offer. The race will be on the paved roads through the park but there are many hiking and nature trails you can explore after the race. Weekend Blessings provides food on weekends and extended breaks/holidays for students in Emanuel County that are at risk for food insecurity. All proceeds from this race will benefit this program and ensure that no child in Emanuel County goes hungry.

Packets can be picked up on Friday 3/17 at GLS front office from 5-6:30 or the morning of beginning at 730am.

Awards will be given in the following catagories

First second and third overall male and female.

First second and third in the following age categories, male and female.

Under 10, 10-19, 20 -29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70 and older
