2017 Rattlesnake Run

(Held in conjunction with the 50th Annual Claxton Rattlesnake & Wildlife Festival)

The Claxton Rattlesnake Run has a new sponsor and a new look!  Under the direction of the Leadership Evans Alumni Association, this event has been expanded to include a 10k route option in addition to the 5k and 1 mile fun run options. 

The routes will take you through historic residential neighborhoods and quiet, beautiful countryside.  Routes are mostly flat with very minimal inclines. 

All routes begin and end at the Claxton Veterans Community Center.  On site registration and packet pick up will be open Friday, March 10, 4:30 pm until 5:30 pm and beginning at 7:30 am on race day, Saturday, March 11. 

All routes begin at 8:15 a.m.  Event includes vendor and sponsor exhibits; post race celebration and awards ceremony.  Awards will be presented to the top overall and age group finishers for male and female. 

All race participants will receive a complimentary admission ticket to the Rattlesnake & Wildlife Festival.
