Start out your running season with the Sap Run 5K on the first day of New York State’s Maple Weekend.  Run or walk the 5K course in the beautiful Hilltown of Knox in the Helderberg Mountains. 

After the race, you can refuel at the First Reformed Church of Berne’s Pancake Breakfast (just 6 minutes away), and then head up the road to Mountain Winds Farm for a maple syrup production tour and an opportunity to buy their delicious maple syrup and candy products.

The Sap Run 5K is the annual fundraiser for Helderberg Hilltowns Association, whose mission is to promote and support local farms, small businesses and organizations in the Albany County Hilltowns of Berne, Knox, Rensselaerville and Westerlo.  Your support is very much appreciated.

Event details and schedule

Sap Run 5K start time is 10 am.  Doors will open for registration and sign-in at 9 am.
