The 26th annual Blarney Run Walk is the Milwaukee area's oldest and longest standing St. Patrick's Day season race. It features a 5K competitive run, 2 mile fun walk and the always popular kid's Twinkle Trot, catering to both the serious runner and famlies. The routes takes you along the scenic Menomonee River and Underwood Creek Parkways. Your registration fee includes a uniquely designed long sleeved cotton T shirt, post race party and awards. Proceeds benefit the programs and mission of the Wauwatos Historical Society.
Race fees are $22 in advance for the run and walk through Jan. 31, $25 from Feb. 1 to March 10 ($6 for the Twinkle Trot through March 10) and $30 on race day ($8 for the Twinkle Trot). Packet pickup and in person registration is Friday March 10 from 4 -7 pm at the Wauwatosa Historical Society, 7406 Hillcrest in Wauwatosa or race day, March 11 from 8 - 9:30 am at Hoyt Park, 1800 N Swan in Wauwatosa.
The Run and Walk begin at 10 am on the Menomonee parkway at Hoyt Park and Twinkle Trot begins at 11 am.
Ample parking is available in the parking lot adjacent to the pool (enter on Swan Blvd/)
The run is chip timed.
