5K Shwachman Diamond-Dash For a Cure...

• Kids Fun Run:- Kids Run

We are in our 13th year.  This is a well organized, fun event for competitive runners as well as casual runners/walkers and their supportive friends.  It is part of the Grand Prix Series and the Sayville Summer Series.  

This is a Charitable event.  Please keep that in mind.  All monies go to Shwachman Diamond Project, to raise funds for this rare bone marrow failure syndrome. There will be raffles sold for the Chinese Auction, so don’t forget to buy some raffles and win a prize. 

It’s a great way to begin your Saturday morning as well as a great race to start your new running lifestyle. The 5K run/walk starts at 9:00am.

The kids will enjoy doing the Fun Run which starts at 8:30 a.m.  They will each get their own race bib and meet Sunny the Duck. There will be music, food, & face painting. 

It’s not just a race.  It’s an Event!
