Race Location: WakeMed Soccer Park. Wate and refreshments will be available for participants.
Course Information: The 5K course is the traditional WakeMed cross-country 5K course. No strollers or animals are allowed on the race course. You can see the official course map here: WakeMed 5K Course Map.
Events: Everyone is welcome to participate! Everyone in the 5K will be chip timed and will have results that will be posted online. The Kid's 100 Yd Dash is a recreational event for kids 12 and under. Chips will only be given to 5K participants at registration on race day after they check in.
Prizes: Awards will be given at the award ceremony for the competitive 5K to the Top 3 Overall male and female finishers and to the following age groups: 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & Over.
Race Souvenirs: Shirts are available for purchase separately until April 20th in the following sizes: S, M, L, and XL.
Online registration closes on May 12 at 9 PM. Cash and checks (made out to Fit & Able Productions, Inc.) will be accepted on race day.
