Description:

The 7th annual Crossroads of NWI marathon/half marathon takes place on the paved country roads in Lake County Indiana.  This out and back course starts in town and takes you past the County parks and past the quiet farmlands.  The course will have two out and back sections so you will see plenty of other runners to cheer for.  This event has added music stations along the course to help motivate you along your journey.  Top male and top female will receive prize money for their efforts. There will be five year age groups as well.  All finishers will recieve a unique finishers medal for their efforts.  This is also a Boston Qualifyer , for those of you who are competitive.

There is a field limit of 1,000 runners, so register early to save your spot. 

Event details and schedule

Top Male and top female finishers will receive prize money this year, along with an overall trophy. Packet pick up will be announced closer to race date. 

The course is all paved roads with only a few smaller rolling hills included.  The race will start at 7am at the bowling alley in Lowell.  It will also finish at the same location.  Parking is only a few feet away from the start/finish area at the bowling alley.  It is free parking.
