Sing for Celebration Run...

• 5k Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

This is our organization's inaugural 5k, designed go benefit this amazing resource for children in our art-driven community. Funds raised will help give this group of motivated children access to top-notch sheet music, rehearsal space, exceptional instruction, accompanists, while ensuring that this opportunity remains affordable and accessible to all children in Asheville and the surrounding community.

Event details and schedule

PACKET PICKUP: Thursday March 30, 2017 in FCC in Choir room from 5:00PM-6:00PM or on Race Day, Saturday April 2, 2017  from 7:30AM-8:30AM.

PARKING: Parking will be available at Carrier Park. You can either park near the race track or near the greenway. Carpooling is encouraged.

WAIVERS: Each participant will be required to sign a waiver before participating the event. This is relevant for both adults and children. Adults must bring photo ID.

WHAT TO BRING/WEAR: Seeing as how our mountain weather is unpredictable we won't know the temperatures until closer to the event date. Wear comfortable clothing, bring layers that can be added or removed and comfortable athletic shoes. Feel free to bring hydration however, there will be a water station offered mid-way through the course.

ABOUT THE COURSE: The course is flat and managable for everyone. We encourage all of you to join us no matter your level of athletic ability. Feel free to run, jog or walk. Bring your dog and your whole family. We appreciate your support for arts in our community!
