Trail Run Series at Mountain Lakes Preserve
April 23 and Third Sunday, May to October: 5/21, 6/18, 7/16, 8/20, 9/17, 10/15.
Start time 9 AM except July and August start at 8 AM.
Sign in and day-of registration 1 hour prior (8 AM / 7 AM) at Community Park North Amphitheater.
Usual course is 3.5± Miles.
April event is our fun run fund raiser. We encourage additional donations to support Princeton First Aid and Rescue Squad (PFARS). Get series T-shirt. Learn our course.
August is the double dipper – two loop event (7 miles), option for one loop if you need it.
Sign in & start by the amphitheater at Pettoranello Gardens.
Series Entry: All online fees are covered. No mail-in.
- $95 Non-members, includes 2017 PAC membership;
- $70 Current 2017 PAC members.
We encourage and expect adult participants to crew one event. Ages 14-17 may fill select roles. Event crew will receive a voucher from Princeton Pacers good for 25% off a single purchase.
Age 18+ must crew one event to count in series standings. Do not expect to crew and race on the same date.
Single Entry: All online fees are covered. No mail-in.
- $20 till ten days prior;
- $25 two to ten days prior;
- $30 day of.
Online registration may close anytime within 48 hours of event
Event: A low-key challenging trail run.
- 3.5 mile trail run comprising about 1/4 mile paved park trail, one mile unimproved service right-of- ways and 2+ miles single track including moderately technical rocks, roots, logs, and whatever else nature has wrought in the woods.
- There will be post-run refreshments. Results posted online.
Safety Items: Pets, strollers, personal audio devices are prohibited.
Due to the technical nature of the trail, parents should consider whether this event is appropriate for their children.
Results: Results posted online. Complete results may not be available immediately on location. As this is the inaugural year of the series, the exact specification of series results is open. Series results are anticipated to include overall and ten-year age group recognitions in men's and women's divisions, according to a points system counting placement and participation.
The April Fun Run fundraiser will not count in the series standings.

Time cut-off on a 15 minute / mile pace. Our crew does want to go home eventually.
Parking: Limited parking at Community Park North lot on Mountain Ave. Legal street parking. Lots of space by Community Park South / Pool Complex, walk across ball fields and cross Route 206 at the light.
