Walk, jog, or race your way across the finish line in support of a great cause!
The Student Outreach Clinic is a free primary care clinic run by the medical students of the University of Nevada, Reno-School of Medicine.
The Student Outreach Clinic was founded by medical students in 1996 and continues to be operated by medical students, under the guidance of licensed physicians. The purpose of the clinic is to provide free health care to those without medical insurance, allowing them to have access to medical care that they otherwise may not receive.
The clinic is made possible by faculty, community physicians and students who donate their time and talent to oversee the clinic. Services include general and acute medical care, gynecological exams, immunizations and laboratory services.
All proceeds from the Heart & Sole 5K will go towards medical supplies and lab fees, enabling the SOC to offer services to even more patients next year.
