 _ 2017 Towpath Half Marathon:

Canalway Partners will be hosting the Towpath Half Marathon, 3 and 5-miler on Sunday, April 9th  2017 at 8:00am in the area surrounding Steelyard Commons and Lower Harvard.

All proceeds from the event benefit Canalway Partners , an organization that has been actively developing and participating in a variety of events and projects to preserve, promote and educate the public about the area surrounding one of Northeast Ohio’s most valuable resources – our park system along the Ohio Canal. Event Schedule

Wednesday April 5 and  Thursday April 6 at local Fleet Feet Stores (Northfield, Pepper Pike, Westlake and Strongsville) 
10:00 am - 7:00 pm - Packet pickup locations available on our website www.towpathtrilogy.com

Sunday, April 9
6:00 am - 7:00 am - Day-of Registration and packet pick-up near the start lines for each race division. We encourage partcipants to pick up their race packet prior as we have limited volunteer help the morning of the race.

7:00 am - Half Marathon Walkers start.
7:30 am - Roads Close

7:30 am - 5-Miler Walkers start
8:00 am - Half Marathon and 3 mile runner begin
8:00 am - 5-Mile runners begin
9:15 am - Award ceremony begins and continues at regular intervals
11:00 am - Course closes

5 MILER:  Please look for Towpath Parking signs (yellow signs, red letters) and volunteers in neon vests. Shuttles will be available to shuttle runners to the 5 Mile start line and back to parking after the race.  Look for BUS STOP signs and volunteers in neon colored vests directing traffic into available lots. Parking available on Harvard Ave at the RTA lot.    

HALF MARATHON and 3 MILER:  Park in lots adjacent to East 49 Street. Lots will be marked with signs indicating "Parking" - runners will shuttled back to their cars from the intersection of Jennings Rd. and Harvard Ave. starting at 9:00 am.
