The Chicago Quarter Marathon
The Chicago Quarter Marathon has been an instant success within the running community. The event originally held adjacent to Soldier Field moves to its NEW LOCATION at Columbus and Balbo on the south end of Grant Park.
This truly unique 6.55-mile sprint along the city's scenic lakefront is one of the first warm-weather spring runs of the year. The course features the iconic Burnham Park Harbor area, Soldier Field, McCormick Place and perhaps the most breathtaking view of Chicago’s Skyline.
Merchandise is King as the first 750 adult participants that pay full price for their entry, will receive a complimentary Quarter Marathon commemorative hat, in addition to the 1/4 zip pullover fleece. All participants receive finisher medals.
And to top things off, there is motivating and exciting course route entertainment plus a post-race party featuring more entertainment and goodies.
For those looking to celebrate the spring, the Chicago Quarter Marathon is a one-of-a-kind (and fun!) running challenge which has something for everyone in the family.
