7th Annual Loop for Lana 5K Run/Walk

Please join us on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. in Crestview Hills, KY for a 5K Run/Walk to benefit the Elana Brophy Memorial Foundation and Cincinnati Childrens Hospital Medical Center.

On August 26th, 2002, at the age of 9, just days before she began the 4th grade at St. Pius X, Elana Renee' Brophy lost her battle with a rare pediatric cancer. Elana touched many people during her few short years on earth. The community will never forget this extraordinary young woman.

In honor of her zest for life and competitive spirit, the Elana Brophy Memorial Foundation, together with her family will be hosting "Loop for Lana" 5K Walk/Run on Saturday October 4, 2014, benefitting the Elana Brophy Memorial Foundation and Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, particularly their "Cancer and Blood Disease Institute"(CBDI) . The CBDI at Cincinnati Children's closely integrates patient care and research in order to advance knowledge and achieve better outcomes for the patients and their families. The many programs under the CBDI include drug discovery programs to family support networks. These programs helped Elana so very much while fighting and "living with" cancer.

Course:

3.1 mile scenic run/walk starts and ends Columbia Sussex Building in Crestview Hills, KY. View Course.

Chip Timing:

This year's race will be accurately "chip timed" using MyLaps Bib Tag technology. No need to return chips this year!

Run Divisions:

14/under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over.

Walk Divisions:

29/under, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over.

Awards:

Top male and female runners and walkers. Age group awards to top runners and walkers in each age division.

Post-Race:

Catering by Lother's Catering and great Music. Music, Refreshments and Awards ceremony immediately following the race.

Registration Cost:

Adults 13 and over: $20 through 8/15/17, $25 8/16/17 through 9/28/17 and $30 race day

. Children 12 and under: $10 advance registration and $15 race day

T-Shirts:

Custom Long-sleeved Shirts are optional and available for only $15 additional with registration.

Online registration is available through Thursday, September 28, 2017 for your convenience.

Register by Mail:

Print and mail a completed race flyer/entry form. Mailed entries must be postmarked by Saturday, 9/23/17.

Late Registration/Early Number Pickup:

Packet pick up will take place on Friday, 9/29/17 at Tri-State Running Company (148 Barnwood Drive Edgewood, KY 41017) from 11am to 6pm.

All those who come for early pick up will earn a chance to win a free pair of shoes courtesy of Tri-State Running.

Race-Day Registration/Number Pickup:

Race Day registration and number pick up will be at Columbia Sussex 7:30 am until 8:45 am. Adult Registration cost is $30. Children 12 and under may register for $15. Shirts may be available for purchase for $15 while supplies last.
