 _ 2017 New London Hospital Days Triathlon & Kids Fun Run:

This year's 34th Annual Hospital Day Triathlon will be held on Sunday, August 6, 2017. The race starts at 9:00am at Bucklin Beach, at beautiful Little Lake Sunapee. Check-in begins at 7:15am at the New London Historical Society. The Kids Fun Run starts at approximately 11:00am.

The race consists of a 1/4 mile swim, then onto a 5.7 mile bike and finishing up with a 3.1 mile (5k) run.

Swim Course: Starting at Bucklin Beach, swim course is sum in a counter-clockwise direction around two buoys and finishes on beach on the parking lot end.

Bike Course: Bikers will exit the beach area via the parking lot. Exit the transition area; take a right onto Rt. 114 and at the top of the hill turn right onto County Road. Turn right at the stop sign onto Newport Road. Go right after Maple Hill Farm at sign "to Little Sunapee Road" then turn right onto Little Sunapee Road. Follow Little Sunapee Road back to Rt. 114, ending at Bucklin Beach

Run Course: After the transition, the run will start at Bucklin Beach. Go right onto Little Sunapee Road and take a right onto Newport Road. Take a left onto Everett Park and keep left. At the intersection of Everett Park and Parkside Road, take a right onto Parkside Road. Follow Parkside Road to County Road (Jake's Market will be on your right). Follow County Road up the hill, take a right onto Little Sunapee Road and finish at the New London Historical Society.

Race check-in/finish line is at th New London Historical Society

• Take I-89 S
• Take Exit 12
• Turn left onto Route 11/New London
• At the roundabout, take County Road uphill
• Turn right onto Little Sunapee Road. The NLHS entrance is apoox. 1/4 mile on the right

FROM POINTS SOUTH:

• Take I-89 N
• Turn right onto Route 11/Newport Road/New London
• Turn left onto Main St/Route 114
• At 2.1 miles, fork right onto Route 114 N (also called Little Sunapee Road). Society entrance is 3/20 mile on the left
