Cinco K - Cinco De Mayo Saginaw 5K

• 5k Run/Walk Youth (13 and Under):- Run 3.1 Miles

TriToFinish is teaming up with CInco K Events to bring mid-Michigan the best in races promoting Hispanic heritage! This is the second year TriToFinish will be on board for the Cinco K Saginaw Cinco De Mayo 5k. That’s right! Back to back Cinco De Mayo races in Flint and Saginaw.

 As with our Flint race, the first 300 registered participants for Cinco De Mayo Saginaw will receive a festive sombrero. So come prepared to don your sombrero and celebratory attire and help usher in the spring!

The run will start on Ojibway Island and go along the beautiful riverfront pathway. There will be a turnaround after passing MCVI with participants finishing back on Ojibway Island. The course is flat and scenic.

• Friday, May 5th, 2017 from 3:00-5:30 PM at the Andersen Enrichment Center

T-Shirts 

Event-specific t-shirts are guaranteed ONLY to those who register online before Noon on Monday, May 2nd! These shirts are high quality and will be available in unisex, ladies cut, or youth sizes. All registrants who register after that date/time will be provided a TriToFinish t-shirt if event-specific shirts are unavailable on site.

Note: Please keep in mind that Ladies Cut shirts generally run smaller than standard unisex t-shirts as they are designed to be somewhat form fitting. Participants will receive the size and type shirts ordered. Exchanges will be unavailable.

Times and Timing: 

The 5K Run/Walk will be timed in accordance with USATF sanctioning requirements.

Awards

Awards will be provided 3 deep to overall male and female winners of the 5K race. In addition, overall winners will receive free entry to next year’s Saginaw Cinco De Mayo Event in the category they win. 2nd Place overall finishers will receive 50% off and 3rdPlace overall finishers will receive 25% off entry to the 2016 event.

NOTE: All participants will receive high quality finisher medals at the finish line upon completion of their event! While age group results WILL be provided, this year’s event will NOT have age group awards.

Results

Results will be displayed at the event and will be posted at TRITOFINISH.COM within 48 hours of race completion.

* There will not be a separate category for Walkers at this event. All participants in the 5K are free to run and/or walk as they see fit.

** Online Registration closes at Midnight, Thursday, May 3rd, 2016. After that, ALL registrations will be completed on-site at late registration/packet pickup at the increased rate of $30.
