• Run For The KIDS - Montgomery County:- Run 3.1 Miles

 - Run For The KIDS Montco is a 5K Run / 1 M Walk in support of neglected, abused, and abandoned children. 100% of net proceeds go to the children who have been removed from their families and have been recommended by the county children and youth agency for gifts or activities to help specific needs such as self-esteem or attachment issues.

The chip-timed 5k course loops within beautiful Norristown Farm Park, an actual working farm, on a paved path free of vehicle traffic. The path passes through scenic fields and woodlands, and includes rolling hills. Participants will receive a tee shirt** and participant bag.  Prizes and medals will be awarded for the top three runners overall, for the top three in males and females in each age group (8 and under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-16, 17-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+), and for the first three walkers.***  Pictures will be posted same day and the course will be well marked, with people as guides at certain places.  There will be water on the course and refreshments at the finish. Parking will be in the park, please enter from Germantown Pike at Barley Sheaf Rd.

Note that money is not refundable in the event of race cancellation due to inclement weather or catastrophic circumstances.
