• 5K Run / Walk:- Run 3.1 Miles

Hosted by Gregg Lynn and the 105.5 FM crew, a 5k Run/Walk to benefit Camp Quality Northwest Missouri. The Happy Camp Scamper is a fun family run following the Riverwalk next to the Missouri River in downtown Saint Joseph. All proceeds go to Camp Quality Northwest Missouri, a nonprofit organization that provides year round programming and experiences for children diagnosed with cancer and their families.

Located at the Gazebo next to Remington Nature Center in Saint Joseph, MO.
Participants can register to run or walk seperately, or have the option of creating or joining a team. Adults can register their children 10 and under to take part in the Bunny Hop Race and Easter Egg Hunt, regardless of whether they take part in the 5K Run/Walk. Please see details on our new events below!

Packet Pick-Up and late registration will be on Friday, April 14, 2017 at the Camp Quality Northwest Missouri Office. Packets and late registration can be picked up from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. (Please note the registration fees go up to $30 after April 8, 2017.)

Children 10 and under can be registered for our Bunny Hop Race. Cost for this event will be $7. Medals will be given to participants with special awards given for the fastest hoppers, and the participants wearing the best easter costume in the Bunny Hop race. Age categories for Bunny Hop Race will be based on amount of children registered. Participants of the Bunny Hop will also be able to be a part of an Easter egg hunt. The Easter egg hunt will also be available to the children of any adult participant in the 5K Run/Walk. (Please note: Event T-Shirts will be provided to 5K run/walk participants. If you would like to order a t-shirt for participants in the Bunny Hop Race, please contact the Camp Quality Office at 816-232-2267 to get cost information and place your order.)

We will have an award for the participant and team that collects the most money through pledges. Please go to www.campqualityusa.org/nwmo to print out a pledge sheet or contact us at [email protected] and we will send it to you. Our goal this year through registrations and pledges is $7000.
