14th Annual Save the Manatee 5K

 _ 2017 Save the Manatee 5K Run:

Save the manatee!  Looking for an unique way to support the Save the Manatee Club?  Try participating in the Save the Manatee 5K, Two-Mile Walk or Mini-Mile.

The actual event is Saturday, May 20th, 2017 at Lake St. Clair Metropark, Michigan.  All participants receive finisher medals and register early to receive a manatee t-shirt and a gift from the Save the Manatee Club.  Manatee medals are awarded to the top three finishers in the 5K, as well as trophies for the overall male, overall female, overall male master and overall female master.  This is a dog friendly event; even dogs receive a canine finisher medal. The event is held on a paved, flat and picturesque course along Lake St. Clair

In addition to the run, we also offer a virtual run for the first time this year, which allows people from around the world to register. The registration package includes a shirt, medal and bib. Runners can run, walk, kayak, swim...this 5K everywhere they like and support the manatees from whereever they are!
