Color Me United 5K | April 29th, 2017
The Color Me United 5K is a color run event hosted by United Way of Mahaska County. Proceeds from this 5K benefit the Oskaloosa chapter of Iowa Reading Corps. The 5K route starts in the William Penn Activity Center (PAC), runs along the MCRF trail, past the Lacey Rec Complex, and back to the PAC.
The Color Me United 5K is held in conjuction with YMCA Healthy Kids Day, a fun and exciting event for families promoting local healthy living initiatives.
Healthy Kids Day events will be held in the William Penn Activity Center and include numerous free kid-friendly activities such as crafts, balloon animals, games, inflatables, community booths, face painting, raffle prizes, and more. Healthy Kids Day is free and open to everyone!
As always, the United Way is truly grateful for the support from our local business leaders, their employees and families.

Parking: Guests for the 5K and Healthy Kids Day may use the PAC parking lot, or street parking along Trueblood Avenue.
