The Grand Valley Marathon, 1/2 Marathon, 10K and 5K is a fund raiser for the Palisade Fruit and Wine Byway.  This race was designed to encourage the whole family to come and participate in a great day of activity, regardless of their interest or running ability.  The Grand Valley Marathon is held in conjunction with the Palisade Brews and Cruise Festival.  May is Blossom season for Palisade and a great time to go wine tasting, floating and biking in Palisade and the Grand Valley
