Barnesville Park/Rotary Lake Trail 5k Walk/Run

 - The beauty of nature is on full display in this up-and-down, through-the-woods, around-the-lake, all-over-the park trail run and trail walk. 

We proudly award over 110 beautifully-hand-crafted Nature Trophies in various categories/divisions in the Run and the Walk including Overall, Masters, and Age Groups. 

First 100 registrants receive a hooded sweatshirt; others get a long-sleeved T-shirt (supplies are limited: 1st come, 1st serve so sign up today!)

All are invited to join us for post race pizza, pepperoni rolls, hot dogs, homemade cookies, and my wife's famous pasta salad!

After the 5k is the FREE Kids Race. All kids win a medallion.

Strong 1/2 mile downhill start. 3 semi-steep but short hills. Challenging 1/2 mile uphill finish.

Half of the course is on paved road, the other half is on crushed limestone or natural surface. Natural surfaces can get a little sloppy in event of heavy rain but nothing excessive.

All points North:

Interstate 70 East/West: Take Exit 202 (Barnesville/Dennison). Proceed onto Ohio State Route 800 South for 5.5 miles. At the top of the hill, 1/4 mile past the Certified Gas Station, make an extreme right-hand U-turn into the PArk. Follow Signs.

All Points South: Take Ohio State Route 800 North into Barnesville. 1/2 mile past the 3rd stop light, you will see signs for Barnesville Memorial Park on the left. Follow signs.
