Local 628 Yonkers Firefighters will be holding the Annual Anthony Colavito Mother's Day Race in Tibbetts Brook Park on May 14th, 2017. The race is fun for the whole family and a great way to celebrate Mother's Day. All proceeds from the race will be donated to charity.
Pre-Race – Registration will open at 9am the day of the race at Tibbetts Brook Park. Sign up for the race is available right up until the start but participants may not be guaranteed a T-shirt size based on availability. Before the race Waters, Gatorades and Fruit will be provided for all participants.
Race description -
The race will begin at 10am in front of the main bath house. The 5K race will take you through the beautiful and historic 161 acre Tibbetts Brook Park. Tibbetts contains two large lakes, a gentle babbling brook, and two small waterfalls. The course is on a mostly paved trail with several small hills that will loop runners/walkers around and through the park. It is suitable for all levels of 5k runners/walkers.
After Party -
Following the race the refreshments, snacks, fruit and music will be provided.
