Play Day in the Park: Dog Jog and Fun Run...

It's that time of year again and we are gearing up to host our 2nd Annual Play Day in the Park! This year we will be hosting our first dog jog and fun run and hope you will come out to join us. There is a nature trail just off of the paved walking trail that we will be running all the way out to Highway 41. With that being said this is a moderate course that is not paved the majority of the course. It is over a mile, but the event organizer will run the course to give you all the exact distance. 

We hope that you all will come out and enjoy Earth Day with us as we celebrate our community and this beautiful park we have worked so hard on building together. There will be several games following the races such as kickball, volleyball, cornhole, a kids zone and much more. There will also be concessions so if you are in need of a good ole burger after you're run we have got you covered! We look forward to seeing you all there. 

Event details and schedule

You can pick up race information and t-shirts on Friday, April 21 between 4-6pm at the pavilion in Community Park. Race Day packet pick up will begin at 7:15am at the pavilion. 

 The races will begin at 8:00am. The fun run and walk will begin at 8am. The dog jog will begin at 8:15am. This course is not paved throughout the majority so please keep that in mind.

If you register by April 8th you will be guranteed a t-shirt, there will be some extra if you register after the 8th but not guranteed. If you will be running with your pup we will also have a special gift for them.
