What is Filter's Fund 5K?
Filter's Fund 5K is a special race to remember and honor our son, Major Garrett Knowlan (call sign "Filter"). He was a Flight Test Engineer in the US Air Force and was killed in October 2012, during water survival training. The Garrett Knowlan Foundation was established in order to help people in need. This was a passion of Garrett's and we will continue to help others in Garrett's name. All of the money raised from this race will be donated to Compassion International - Highly Vulnerable Childrens Fund and The Major Garrett Knowlan Jackson High School Scholarship fund. Please plan on joining us in Jackson, MO, if you are close, or WHEREVER you are on May 6, 2017, for our Virtual Race. If you need more information, please contact me at [email protected] or PM Bonnie Knowlan on FB.
The Fifth Annual Filter's Fund 5K and Fun Run- May 6th at 9 am - we will meet at West Lane Elementary in Jackson and run/walk the JHS Soccer team run in memory of Major Garrett Knowlan.
* All donations are tax deductible and will be given to children/families in need. We are committed to carrying on Garrett's legacy of helping those who are unable to help themselves.
