This event is being held to raise funds and awareness for the Ugandan Water Project. The Ugandan Water Project is a humanitarian effort that places rainwater collection tanks on community buildings and rehabilitates existing borehole wells throughout the East African nation of Uganda. The cost of one tank is $3,600 and can serve more than 300 people. To date, over 340 major water projects have been funded, serving over 150,000 people!
The course begins & ends near Rand Lodge in Powder Mills Park. The course runs through the park along Park Road & continues along Railroad Mills, Woolston, & Corduroy Roads.
Packet Pick-Up is handled during race check-in, which is streamlined for pre-registered runners.
Registration begins at 8AM at Rand Lodge. Race begins at 9AM.
