Robbie's Run began in 2006, following the tragic death of 9 year old Robbie Levine, of Sudden Cardiac Arrest in 2005. The event is a major fundraiser of Forever 9-The Robbie Levine Foundation. The foundation raises money to donate AEDs to youth sports leagues to protect children (and adults) wherever they play sports. AED/CPR training is also provided to anyone interested in learning how to save a life. The foundation has donated many hundreds of AEDs around the world, and has trained many thousands of community members, students, coaches and parents.
Robbie's Run is more than just a 5K run. We have a morning full of running/walking, family entertainent, food, and raffles for everyone. T-shirt/number pick up is held at Levy-Lakeside elementary school on April 29th from 12-2pm. For more information, please email [email protected].
