Brevard, NC Firecracker 5K, 10K and 1K Fun Run...

• 5K Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

The Rotary Club of Brevard is proud to present the 2017 Firecracker 5,10K Race and Fun Run on the 4th of July, which is designed to accompany the downtown July 4th festival.  For several years the festival has been kicked off by our races.  After you finish running, head uptown to enjoy the music, food, dancing, kid fun games, tours, crafts, art and much more in one of the most picturesque little towns in western North Carolina.

The race course starts at the American Legion and meandors through the beautiful downtown neighborhoods, past river banks and pastures below some of the most gorgeous blue ridge mountain views your eyes have ever seen.  You will want to sign up early and bring the kids for a weekend of family friendly fun!  There are plenty of lodging and camping sites in Brevard and Pisgah Forest and for information on excursions, ziplining, hiking, mountain biking, swimming, tubing, picnicing, cookouts and more, just stop by our local Chamber on Main Street. We'll see you there!

Event details and schedule

The 2016 Firecracker Run begins at 8am. Same day registration begins at 6:30am. There is no packet pickup the day before. Shirts may be available day of for $10.  Mail in registrations can be done by downloading a form from our website, www.brevardrotary.org. The race begins at The American Legion on Jordon St and is the finish line too.
