The Rip Tide Run is a fundraising 5k to benefit The Ripple Initiative; a nonprofit working to alleviate the financial struggles of people in the midcoast area. Working closely with the Knox County Homeless Coalition, AIO Food Pantry, Acadia Healthcare, and others, we have formed a network clearinghouse for goods and services benefiting people grappling with homelessness and poverty.
The Ripple Initiative was founded in 2016 by Sharon Setz and Lori Alice Friant. We are a grassroots, neighbor helping neighbor, enterprise.
We are a 501(c)(3) and all proceeds from the Rip Tide Run will be furthering the mission of The Ripple Initiative.
