Come on out to Clearwater the morning of the 4th of July for the best Independence Day hot dog run in the USA! It's the perfect way to start your day with a family friendly 5K run or walk 7/04/2017 beginning at 10 a.m. Don't worry about your speed we draw a very fun promotional crowd and Buffalo Wild Wings Clearwater is one of our favorite post race party locations on the www.727CanRace.com calendar.

This is an electronically timed 5K but no age group awards. Awards will be presented to the first 10 males and first 10 females across the finish line (and as always “some special categories ” )…..the rest of us will be out there in good fun in an electronically timed but non-competitive 3.1 mile run or walk along the Ream Wilson Trail in Clearwater. The 1 mile begins just after the 5K start at 10:15 a.m. and is a finisher's division only. That means we don't record your time but you get all the same great goodies! Check in is race day only beginning at 9 a.m. at Buffalo Wild Wings in Clearwater. There is plenty of parking in the BWW/Floor n' Decor parking lot. The course is entirely flat and paved. Our post race party is in the ice cold air conditioning inside Buffalo Wild Wings.

Check in opens at 8:30 a.m. at Buffalo Wild Wings 21688 US Hwy 19 N, Clearwater, FL 33765 located in the shopping plaza on the corner of US 19 and Drew.

Event details and schedule

The course is entirely paved so it is family friendly and stroller friendly. The 5K will begin 10 a.m. and the 1 mile distance will begin about 15 minutes later at 10:15 a.m. (the 1 mile is not timed or recorded online).
