Crab Fest 5k Evening Run...

• 5K Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church has a yearly Crab Fest. We're excited to offer a Crab Fest 5k and a 1-mile Fun Run on Friday June 30th at 7:00pm associated with that event.  All proceeds go towards supporting the Church. 

Overall Male and Female 5k winners each get a $100 cash! This is a professionally timed event and there are also prizes for top three male and top three female by age category. 

NOTE: Any "Life Runners" can run or walk this event at a discount if they register race day and show up in their Life Runner shirt.

Event details and schedule

The 5k starts at 7:00pm, Friday June 30th, with the fun run following shortly thereafter (around 7:45pm).  

Overall Male and Female 5k winners each get a $100 cash! This is a professionally timed event and there are also prizes for top three male and top three female by age category. 

On-site registration is available the day of at the paviliion starting at 6:00pm.  If you registered on-line, please bring an ID and you can pick up your t-shirt, packet, etc. and sign a waiver at the pavillion. On-site registration and packet pick-up closes at 6:50pm. (NOTE: Any "Life Runners" can run or walk this event at a discount if they register race day and show up in their Life Runner shirt. ) 

The race starts next to the pavillion (at the end of Washington Street and Beach Blvd). Parking is available at the pavillion, near the pier, as well as on Washington Street.

Crab Fest 5k Participants will run on the paved beach path out 2.5k and back (or 0.5 miles out/back for the Fun Run). Two water stations will be on the 5k route. 

Wear comfortable walking/running clothes, bring water and anything else you might need for a hot day...but hopefully this will be a relatively easy "cooler" evening run.
