ABOUT THE RUN

Come on and join us for the 7th Annual Sasquatch 5K Trail Run!  Hosted on the lovely FNLT preserved Snyder Family Farm in Mount Wolf, the Sasquatch 5K is chip timed and was featured in Runner’s World magazine’s list of America’s Top Trail Races.

The Sasquatch is an all off-road, cross-country and trail run covering mixed terrain and elevation.  Enjoy the woods, varied crops on some of York County’s best soils and wildlife – we’ve seen native songbirds, deer, turkeys, owls, foxes, snakes and sasquatches, all on this beautiful landscape.  As the farming operations evolve at the Snyder Farm, so does the course – so expect some changes.

Parking is limited and so is clean air, so please try and car pool.

Post-race will feature snacks from Flinchbaugh’s Orchard & Farm Market, drinks, cold beer from Brewery Products (21+ with ID), music and celebration with your fellow runners.  Bonus - smoothie samples plus discount coupons from Smoothie King for all runners!

This is a PRIVATE property, so please - no trespassing pre or post-race day.  Since this is an active farm, please NO ANIMALS.  Due to the terrain, we also ask that NO STROLLERS are brought on the course.

The Sasquatch 5K Preservation Trail Run benefits Farm & Natural Lands Trust of York County, a land preservation organization dedicated to conservation of our prime agricultural and sensitive environmental landscapes.

REGISTRATION INFO

Register online at www.farmtrust.org (with an added fee), or send a check to FNLT.  Tech-shirts are an additional $7.00 per person.  Pricing is $20.00 through the end of August and $25.00 in September.  Once we get to September, shirts are on limited availability up until race day. 

Early packet pick up can be done at Flying Feet Sport Shoes on Friday, September 8th from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM.  Flying Feet is located at 1511 Mount Rose Avenue in York, PA.  Race day registration starts at 7:30 AM.

AWARDS & PRIZES

Collectible Sasquatch 5K patches are given in place of awards or trophies, a new one each year – collect them all!  Prizes awarded to – Top Male & Female, Age Groups, Best Costume and more.  Additional unique random prizes and giveaways galore.  In the past we’ve had fresh baked pies, local fruits and vegetables, pumpkins, sporting goods and other fun stuff.
