Heroes for Hospice 5K Remembrance Run...

Join us for a unique opportunity to honor or memorialize a loved one or friend with our Annual Family 5K Walk & Fun Run.  This year's theme "Heroes for Hospice" provides a fun way to dress as your favorite super hero!  Proceeds from the event will help the VNA Hospice to provide nursing and supportive care to patients and their families in our community.

$100 awards will be given to the overall top male and female finisher.  Awards will also be provided to the top three finishers ( male and female ) in each age group.  The 10 and under Kid's Fun Run awards each of our young runners as well.  

Activities include post run YOGA and stretching, music, door prizes and raffles, food and drinks, and a vendor area.  Special children activities include face painting and other activies.  New this year is our day care area while you walk or run.  

Event details and schedule

Registration 7:30 am with a runner shotgun start at 8:00 am.  Walkers will begin at 8:15 am and the Kid's Run ( 10 and under ) will take place at 9:30 am.  The event is rain or shine.  

Parking will be available at the VNA location and surrounding lots ( attendants will be helping ).  The course begins at the VNA and follows a well marked course.  

Water will be provided on the course with after race refreshments as well.
