The 36th Annual Mulberry Island Half Marathon and 5k Run takes place on Fort Eustis, an active Army installation and half of Joint Base Langley-Eustis. The Half Marathon starts on Lee Blvd, runs along the James River, past the historic Matthew Jones House, by Fort Eustis's Ghost Fleet of ships, along the side of The Pines Golf Course, and ends in front of Anderson Field House. You'll be motivated throughout the entire course by volunteers, Active Duty military members, and will get to see what a real Army installation looks like. The Half Marathon is a certified USATF course (VA14019RT).

Race Day Registration & Packet Pick-Up: 0600 (No packet pick-up before Race Day)

Half Marathon Start: 0730

5k Run Start: 0745

Access to Fort Eustis: Runners without a valid DOD ID will be required to stay to the right as they approach the main gate in order to obtain a temporary pass to enter Post. Please have a valid "The REAL ID Act of 2005" form of Identification of everyone in the vehicle, along with current vehicle insurance and registration. Fees:

Half Marathon: $40 ($45 on and after Sept. 1)

5k Run: $25 ($30 on and after Sept. 1)

Age Divisions:

19 & Under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 , 70 & Over

Teams of 4, first team with all members accounted for at the finish will win Top Team Award. Registration for teams closes NLT Aug. 31 2017

Prizes:

Prizes for Top 3 Overall Winners in each event (Half Marathon and 5K) + Custom Finsher Medals for both events. Custom Finisher Medal addition for top 3 in each age division.

This is a Peninsula Track Club Grand Prix event.
