The Bobby Doyle 5 Miler ~ Results...

• 5 Mile Run:- Run 5 Miles

The 10th Annual Bobby Doyle Summer Classic 5 Mile Road Race.

Course - USATF certified course through scenic Narragansett RI with panoramic ocean view. Course map and description are posted on event website (http://www.bobbydoyleraces.com/index.html).

Medals - All finishers will recieve a custom 2017 Bobby Doyle race medal.

Technical T-shirts - All registered runners receive a technical T-shirt.

Race raffle - Pre-dawn raffle for all PRE-REGISTERED runners. Gift cards/merchandise will be awarded at Registration prior to the race.

Post Race refreshments - on the grounds of the Pier Middle School.

Packet pick-up and race day registration begins at 7:30 am Sunday Aug. 13th at Pier Middle School.

Race day entry fee is $35 ($25 for high school students). Make checks payable to: "The Bobby Doyle Foundation, Inc.".

Prize Funds: $8000 total cash purse (individual & teams).

INDIVIDUAL (male & female)

Open - 1st $500, 2nd $300, 3rd $200, 4th $100, 5th-10th $50 gift cards.

Masters (40-49) - 1st $300, 2nd $200, 3rd $100, 4th-5th $50 gift cards.

Seniors (50-59) - 1st $200, 2nd $100, 3rd $50 gift card.

Veterans (60-69) - 1st $150, 2nd $50 gift card.

Grand Veterans (70+) 1st $100, 2nd $50 gift card.

COURSE RECORD BONUS Additional $150 to race winners (male & female) who break the existing course record. Men: Ablyot Endale 23:39 (2011). Women: Mary Cullen 26:14 (2008).

USATF NEW ENGLAND TEAM COMPETITION (male & female) - Scoring team members must be members of the USATF

Open - 1st $500, 2nd $300 (Scoring based on top five finishers per team).

Masters (40+) - 1st $300 (Scoring based on top three finishers per team).

Seniors (50+) - 1st $300 (Scoring based on top three finishers per team).

Veterans (60+) - 1st $150 (Scoring based on top three finishers per team).

Grand Veterans (70+)- 1st place $150 (Scorign based on top three finishers per team)

SPECIAL HIGH SCHOOL AWARDS

• Individual "King" and "Queen" - The first high school male and female (2017 graduates are eligible) will receive a pair of running shoes from Rhode Runner Sports.
• Team Award - to the first high school team (male and female) - top 5 score, based on time.
• High School students and teams from all 50 states are eligible for awards.
