Celebrating our 25th Year for the Isle of Palms Connector Run & Walk for the Child!

This Run/Walk is the most scenic on the East Coast providing panoramic early morning views of the Intracoastal Waterway as you walk and run from the Isle of Palms over the Marsh towards Mount Pleasant. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the sunrise, and a wide variety of coastal birds and passing boats with thousands of other walkers and runners as well as a fabulous and fun After Party with fun & games, kids activities, snacks, beer garden, and Live Music.  All of this while helping the Exchange Club of Isle of Palms raise money for the prevention of child abuse! 

Event details and schedule

RACE DAY SCHEDULE:

6am-7:30am - Last minute registration and packet pick-up

7:00 -  IOP Connector Closes

7:30 -  Opening Ceremony, Vendor Booths open

8:00  - Race starts

8:30  - After Party starts

9:15am  Awards presentation

11:00am -  Event Closes

COURSE INFO:

Starting line is on the IOP beginning 1100 Palm Blvd. Racers travel from and turn left onto the IOP Connector.  Turn around points for both 5k and 10k will be marked. Racers then continue back over the Connector with finish line being at JC Long.

PARKING:

Free parking will be available in the public parking lot across from the Public Safety Bldg and Shops.
