Tortoise & The Hare Half Marathon / 10K

• Half-Marathon:- Run 13.1 Miles
• 10K Run:- Run 6.2 Miles

 - It’s called Tortoise & The Hare because the idea behind it is for slower runners to get a head start and faster runners to start later to try and catch up to the “hares”. Why is the concept awesome? Because if you’re usually in the back of the pack, you feel this adrenaline to push yourself harder with your head start. Knowing there’s people trying to catch up to you is always a good motivator. If you’re usually alone leaving all your comrades in the dust, you’ll experience the bliss of passing as many people as possible – one you so (unfortunately) don’t get to experience often!

The best part? While this melody of trying to take advantage of an upper edge vs playing catch up is playing out, the race suddenly ends and you find yourself finishing with runners from all playing fields. A beautiful finish indeed.

In the end, we’re all winners by just getting our butts to the start line. Don’t worry… we still acknowledge the winners by speed and pace and you’ll even get your results tracked live and printed at the finish of the race. You’ll get your medal, your few minutes of glory, but we’ll also get to celebrate at the Finish Line.
