Team Azalea Charities, a 100% volunteer organization with all proceeds going to help wounded service personnel in need.   We have three catagories of runners supporting our cause -

        Option 1 - Signup for one of our 2017 MCM bibs - we have 200 available.  Registering with us under this option will result in you purchasing your bib directly from the MCM (via a RaceIT website link) after we provide you a special code.  Under this option we ask you to raise a minimum of $300 in support of our cause.

        Option 2 - Signup for one of our 2017 MCM 10K bibs - we have 20 available.  Registering with us under this option will result in you purchasing your bib directly from the MCM (via a RaceIT website link) after we provide you a special code.  Under this option we ask you to raise a minimum of $200 in support of our cause.

        Option 3 - Using a MCM bib you have acquired through another source, registering with us to support our cause.  Under this option, we ask that you strive to raise a minimum of $300 in support of our cause.

Our athletes are dedicating their physical endeavors in 2017 to the Azalea Charities, Inc., ‘Aid for Wounded Warriors'initiative.  Azalea Charities is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity that provides comfort and relief items for U.S. service personnel at Walter Reed, Bethesda, Fisher Houses, and Department of Defense and Veterans Administration Medical Centers across the globe who are sick, injured or wounded from duty in Iraq and Afghanistan. Staffed with 100% volunteers, contributions typically go toward the purchase of specific items requested by wounded personnel and their families each and every week.<p>

We also provide financial support to Quality of Life Foundation supporting military service personnel injured in the line of duty. Many of the servicemen and women are grievously wounded and will require long hospitalization or rehabilitation. The purpose of our mission is to lift their spirits, enhance their morale, as well as impact a lifetime of assistance and support well after these proud warriors are no longer in the headlines.
