Halloween Hustle 5K/10K...

The 5th annual Halloween Hustle 5K/10K takes place on a scenic, paved-trail course during the peak of autumn. It starts on the east end of Covington City Park and, loops north, proceeds directly west on the beautiful wooded trail. The trail is relatively flat and because it is an out and back, you will gain momentum toward your finish.  You finish the last half mile running past the soccer fields (where you began) with music motivating you to cross the finish line.   The event also includes family entertainment, a FREE Kid's Fun Run, activities, food, and more! Race Information & Details: 

Covington Nursery School’s FIFTH Annual Halloween Hustle 5K/10K Walk or Run – Saturday, October 29, 2016: Start Time: 9 a.m. – Please arrive at the Covington City Park 30 minutes before the start of the race. Rain or Shine.  This race is non-refundable because it is a fundraiser.  

Pre-register BEFORE October 13, 2017 to guarantee a shirt.

COSTUMES ARE ENCOURAGED!  Kid's Fun Run immediately following 5K, for ages 8 and under.  No registration required, FREE.  FREE family fun activities including bounce house, games, and costume contests.  Food (Breakfast & Lunch) available for purchase by Two Chicks & a Dog.

Children under 10 may walk/run the Halloween Hustle FREE without a shirt.  Please register on paper to avoid processing fees. 

First Place Medals will be awarded in each age division listed above for both races, including an overall race winner in male and female divisions. 

5K and 10K begin at the soccer pavilion on the Covington Circle Trail.  The course loops around the soccer field and heads east near the Trojan Complex, the 5K turnaround is the second parking lot on Trojan Complex Road, and concludes at the starting line.  The 10K continues out to the Pearl Street Trailhead and turns around, concluding at the starting line. 

Strollers are welcome. 

Service Pets Only. 

Children under 10 can participate FREE without a shirt or for $10 with a shirt for the 5K or 10K.  Senior Citizens are given a $10 discount on registration.  Race Day Fees will be an additional $5 in every category. 

Registration available online at Active.com or on paper (to save the processing fee).  Registrations are available at The Fountain Trust Company, Covington County Market, and Covington Nursery School.

Bib/Packet Pick-Up is Thursday, October 26, from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at the Covington Nursery School (1135 Liberty Street, Covington, Indiana) You may designate someone other than yourself to pick up your bib, shirt, and packet.  Packet includes race map and sponsorship materials and freebies.  You may pick-up your packet race morning beginning at 7:30 a.m. at the Soccer Pavilion on the Covington Circle Trail.
