Welcome! We're glad you came to check us out, and we look forward to seeing you at our race. If you joined us before, we hope you had a great time. We certainly enjoyed all the great people who came to support Vilonia's Cross Country teams!

We're offering chip timing again to make the race more runner-friendly and get the results out quickly! This will give runners more accurate times and allow us to hand out awards sooner. We want to make this a race you want to come back and run every year!

This is a runners' race, organized by runners, directed by runners, and benefiting runners. All proceeds benefit the Vilonia Cross Country team. This year, our girls finished second at the 5A state meet and our boys finished third. Our boys team finished second in the 5A classification at the state meet in 2015 and our girls finished third. Since 2012, neither our boys nor our girls have finished lower than fourth at the state meet. We had 68 athletes on our roster at the end of the 2016 season, spanning 7th through 12th grades. We want to instill a love of running in these young athletes, a passion for the sport they will carry throughout their lives.

If you ran the race this year, you ran on our newest certified course (USATF #AR17007WJT).  The race will start and finish in the same spot in front of the Vilonia High School gymnasium. Our two-loop course through the Vilonia School District main campus is flat and fast. Many experienced runners get their PRs here. We close the campus so runners enjoy a course free from vehicular traffic.

This year, we're offering a high quality cotton race t-shirt to all participants. Runners and spectators will have access to REAL bathrooms inside the Vilonia High School gym. We give really nice awards to the top three male and female finishers in the race, and great-looking medals to the top three male and female runners in the following age groups: 9 & under, 10 - 14, 15 - 19, 20 - 24, 25 - 29, 30 - 34, 35 - 39, 40 - 44, 45 - 49, 50 - 54, 55 - 59, 60 - 64, 65 - 69, 70 - 74, 75 - 79, 80 & above.
