WNC Where The Wild Things Run -

• Kids Fun Run:- Fun Run
• 5K Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

The 5K course is almost entirely run on our trails for more fun and adventure. It will be approximately 90% trail with a mix of groomed trails, rugged trails and narrow bridges/boardwalks. The challenging terrain will highlight the diversity and beauty of our property. Runners, joggers and walkers of all ages are welcome. This trail is NOT stroller friendly. 

New this year, we've made some changes to our Kids Fun Run course! We have a short course that is .2 miles and is appropriate for 3-5 years old. This course runs from our pavilion, down our driveway, down to the waterfall, up behind the Nature Center and finishes at the pavilion. We also have an extended long course that is .37 miles and is appropriate for 6-13 years old. This course runs from our pavilion, down the driveway, down the trail head, completes a small loop in the woods, then back out to the driveway, down to the waterfall, up behind the Nature Center and finishes at the pavilion.Age recommendations are approximate. Parents are welcome to accompany their children.

Parking for the event is available along Deer Run and Fawn Place. It is somewhat limited and will require up to a 1/3rd  mile walk to the start. Please arrive early to ensure you get to the start on time and think about car-pooling.
