_ The 2018 Polar Bear Run 5K/2K & Cub Dash/Run:

One of Georgia's fastest 5K races and 2K runs (flat and fast!). The 5K is USATF certified.

This being the 30th annual event we have a special commemorative shirt for all entrants this year - long-sleeved, hooded moisture-wicking technical shirt!!!

Again in 2018 (30TH annual) we will chip time the finish line so you don't have to worry about the hassle of tear-off tags and finish cards.

Plenty of food and fluids and fun after the race...be sure and stay around for the indoors Cub Dash and Cub Run when all the little kids get their chance to shine. Of course, the finale is our ever popular Race of the Characters - Bears, Cows, sometimes a Turkey.....all dashing across the gym floor! Fun event!!!

There will be packet pickup/last chance registration at the Marietta Big Peach Running store on Johnson Ferry Road on Friday (1/26/2018) from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. - you will be able to pick up your race number, race shirt and packet...and sleep in a little later on Saturday as a result.

REMEMBER - There is NO race day registration, and this race has a 2,000 entrant cutoff mark (with the special 30th anniversary shirt, we expect to hit our numbers early this year!

ONLINE REGISTRATION ENDS MIDNIGHT, WEDNESDAY, 1/24/18!!!

Saturday packet pickup will be from 6:30 a.m. - 7:45 a.m. in the church gym.

5K AWARDS - presented to the Overall Male & Female, Overall Male & Female Master and the top 3 finishers (male & female) in 16 age groups (from 10 & under to 80 & over)

2K, Cub Dash and Cub Run - Ribbons to all finishers in these non-competitive fun runs.
