Join us for the 2nd Annual Gobbler Half Marathon 10 Miler & 10K on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 8:30am at Mereworth Farm in West Lexington.  Earn your Thanksgiving feast the following Thursday with a scenic Half Marathon, 10 Miler or 10K through beautiful bluegrass horse country.

Our race charitable beneficiaries will be Glean KY and New Vocations Horse Adoption.  Read more about these two local charities on the page below.  We will also be collecting canned/non perishable goods at our 2 packet pickups and on race morning.  We'll get whatever is donated to local food banks who can get this food to those in need.  Thanks in advance to those who can help out.

Our scenic half marathon course will traverse through beautiful horse country and past a number of our horse farms.  All registrants receive a long sleeved performance T-shirt (while they last). Overall, Age Group awards (13.1), DJ and live band, race photos, chip timing, post race eats and lots of "Gobble Gobble fun"! 

Sign up by November 8th to guarantee yourself a commemorative long sleeved tech T-shirt.  After that date shirts are on a first come first serve basis.  If you register and your size is not available you can either pick another size or choose the "no shirt option".  We will have a SHIRT SWAP immediately following the race for anyone who either did not receive a shirt or got a size that they would like to trade with another participant.  If we have race no shows their shirts will be available for swap following the race.

There will be a 15 minute/mile (3:15 total time) pace limit imposed for the half marathon race per contract with the City of Lexington.  Beast Pacing will provide pacers for the half marathon with finish times of 1:30, 1:40, 1:50, 2:00, 2:15, 2:30, 2:45, 3:00 & 3:15 (sweeper). Walkers and strollers are welcomed in the 10K race.  No dogs allowed.  Awards for the 10K will be top 3 overall male/female.

HOTEL RESERVATIONS  The Four Points By Sheraton is our Official 2017 Gobbler Half Marathon Hotel Partner.  They are located at 1938 Stanton Way, Lexington, KY 40511 at the I-64/75 Newtown Pike (Exit 118).  Their courtesy room rate is $79 plus tax per night which is available on Friday (11/17) and Saturday (11/18).  To make your reservation CLICK HERE.  The Four Points is about 3 miles from our race venue.
