_ The 3rd Annual MCA Green Thumb 5K:

The 3rd annual Mother Catherine Academy "Green Thumb 5K" takes place on a rustic and scenic out-and-back course during the peak of spring. It starts on the Immaculate Conception Parish Hall grounds and proceeds directly north to the turnaround on the paved Three-Notch Trail in Mechanicsville, MD. The course runs past Amish and "English" farmlands and is flat, fast, and PR-friendly.  Pets, strollers, and baby joggers are also welcome. The event benefits MCA's nationally-recognized Agricultural Lab and other school and community programs and projects. 

Event details and schedule

• Packet Pick-up: Saturday, May 5, 2018, 7:30 - 8:45 AM at the Immaculate Conception Parish Hall
• Course Info: The course is flat and PR-friendly. The start and finish are both on the parking lot area of the Immaculate Conception Parish Hall and heads out north on the Three-Notch Trail for 1.5 miles to the aid station and the turnaround point. The course crosses Lockes Crossing Road where marshalls will hold traffic for the particpants' safe crossing.
• Arrival Info: Please arrive on or before 7:45 AM for timely packet pick-up.
• Parking is allowed on the Immaculate Conception Church and Parish Hall's grounds.

• Medals & Prizes to the OVERALL TOP 3 MALES and TOP 3 FEMALES.  Medals to TOP MALE & FEMALE in each ten-year age group.
