The revitalized area known as "The Nations" is nestled into the corner of West Nashville on the Cumberland's shore, and is home to the iconic Silos (featured in the 5k logo). The Youth Life Learning Centers is located on the perimeter of The Nations on 44th Ave., where we’ve served families and youth since January 2001. 

The Nations 5k will help raise awareness of Youth LIFE's mission, serve as a fundraiser for the organization's annual campaign to support programing efforts, and invite neighbors to become community stakeholders in the work of advancing our cities youth. 

At the onset and conclusion of the 5k, information about Youth LIFE West location will be provided. Participants of the 5k will be able to sign up for volunteer opportunities, site visits, pick up information about services provided at the center, and make donations.

***Strollers and pets (on leashes) are more than welcome at our event. We ask that these participants start toward the back of the starting group to ensure everyone's safety. ***

Registration Notes

• Online registration closes on Thursday, November 16th at 11:59 p.m.

• Registrations can be filled out in-person at the Youth Life Learning Center (West Location) until 6 p.m. on Friday, November 17th.

• Day-of registration will be available on-site near the start/finish line. 

• Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable

• All pre-registered participants will receive a complimentary race shirt (Kids Fun Run included)

Race Day Itinerary

• Pre-Packet Pick-up:

  • Friday, November 17th: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. at Youth Life @ West (4402 Tennessee Ave. Nashville, TN 37209) 

• Race Day Packet Pick-up and Walk-up Registration:

  • Saturday, November 18th 6 a.m.-7 a.m. at Race Site

• Kids Fun Run Starts: 7:30 a.m.

• 5K Starts: 8:00 a.m.

• Awards: 9:00 a.m.

Awards

• Overall awards will be based on clock (gun) time. Age group awards will be based on chip time.

• Overall: Top 3 male and female

• Masters Overall: First place 40 and over male and female

• Age Group: Top 3 place male and female in each age category

  • 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60 and over
