4th Annual Eagle Harriers 5K Run/Walk and Alumni Challenge...

The Eagle Harriers 5K is a run down the Mission River reach. It will start and finish at Brackenridge High School. Musics, food and fun will be located at the finish. Come support our eagle harriers and celebrate our 100th Birthday. Brackenridge opened November 1, 1917 100 years ago.

The SA Eagles Athletics Club will be holding this event to raise funds for the Brackenridge Cross Country Team. We also hope to encourage more of our teachers, alumni and students to join the running community. All the proceeds for this event will go directly to the Brackenridge Cross Country Team for uniforms, equipment, and supplies needed for their participation in the sport. Brackenridge is a comprehensive high school located just south of downtown, and our population consists primarily of at-risk students with lower than average economic status.

8:30am Free Kids’ 1K Run  (Children 11 years and under) 

9:00am 5K Cost: Early registration - $25, Early registration ends 09/30

10/01/17-$30, starting 11/16/2017 $35, Race day $40

Sleepwalker Donation $25 (Register, pick up your shirt and sleep in on race day)

Team registrations are $5 off indiividual prices (Minumum of 5 on a team.)

IN PERSON REGISTRATION: Satruday, January 06 at Brackenridge High School from 1:00pm-4:00pm and Race day at 7am.

RACE DAY REGISTRATION IS $40 FOR ALL!

PACKET PICK UP: January 06 in the Brackenridge foyer from 1:00pm-4pm, On race day starting at 7:00am

AWARDS:

• Overall M&F Winners + M&F Masters
• 10 Year Age Groups for first 3 M&F
• Age group awards will be based on chip time
• Overall winner awards will be based on gun time
• No duplication of awards
• Awards for 1st 5 male and 5 female walkers

BRACK Alumni Challenge! Which class will have the most Participants? And which class will have the best team score? Coach Jordan will score this the way cross country races are scored….. lowest score/place for top 5 participants wins the challenge! Congrats Class of 1994 for winning both challenges last year!   

Team Challenge: This year we will also have a team challege for the fastet team not on an alumni team. Will your team be the fastest.
