_ The 2018 34th Annual Siberian Express 7.45 Mile Trail Run:

Race Starts at 11:00AM sharp.  Give yourself time for parking.  This is a 7.45 mile trail run on the Wild Wilderness Trail in Kickapoo State Park. There are NO aid stations on the course. The event will be held regardless of weather. NO refunds.  There is race day registration at the Maintenance Garage in the park. Awards to all finishers as they cross the finish line. Top 200 runners receive special awards and top 450 receive a Siberian Express Buff. There is a 2-hour time limit strictly enforced. Registration fees DO NOT INCLUDE SHIRTS. Special Siberian shirts can be purchased at the party at Spanky's Banquet Hall in Danville. You can also purchase food at the party. There will be free draft beer and pop sponsored by the Kennekuk Road Runners. Costumes are encouraged for the race and especially for the wild post-race party!  This year's theme is DISCO some come prepared to freeze your disco balls off and dance the afternoon and evening away at the post race party!!!  Event No. 1 of the Kennekuk Grand Slam. 

Event details and schedule

Race day registration and bib number pick up starts at 9:30 am Central Time in the Kickapoo Park Maintenance Garage. Race starts promptly at 11:00 am and ends at 1:00 pm sharp!  Then join us for the world-famous post-race aprty at Spanks Banquet Hall on Main Street in Danville.  Free beer and pop and Hors D'oeuvres.  Post race meal is $7.00.  Pay at the party.  There will be clothing for sale and prizes and surprizes, and a DJ playing disco music and other favorites.   

This Year again, FRIDAY HAPPY HOUR PARTY AND PACKET PICK UP. Kick things off with free hot dogs, pop, beer (Miller lite and Pepsi products) at Spanky's Banquet Hall. 5pm to 7p,. 409 E. Main Street in Danville.
