Over $74,000 has been raised for Boston Children's Hospital in the first 4 years of this popular event.

PLEASE JOIN US- this is the year we will break $100,000 in donations to Boston Childrens Hospital! 

The 5th Annual "RUNNING of the Leprechauns 5K" benefitting Boston Childrens Hospital is a Rolling Party- Pre-Race DJ, Bagpiper & Fiddler on route, lively St. Patricks Day Party INDOORS to follow- Beef Stew, Irish bread, pizza, beer,  Goulding Irish Dancers & Irish Band. 5k Race/Walk/Party in Medford. 
Guests of participants are welcome to the party with a $10 entry donation.

COSTUMES ENCOURAGED!!! 
All runners registered by February 14, 2018 will receive a Long Sleeve Race shirt, Finishers Medal and Swag!! First 100 to register will get some Boston Childrens Hospital bling! 

The Running of the Leprechauns 5K is a chip-timed event for ALL (walkers too) participants on a USATF certified route.

TEAM CAPTAIN PERKS: 

Recruit 5 teammates to your team- send us an email and we will reimburse your registration fee!
We’ll also have prizes for the captains of the three largest teams. 
Largest team designates which part of the hospital 1/3 of next years proceeds will benefit.

AWARDS 
Best Costume (judged by the race directors)

$100 Cash & Medal to Top Male & Top Female Overall.

Age group awards Medal for M/F: 15 & under, 16-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 60+. Overall awards are based on gun time; age group awards are based on chip time. 

Biggest Team. WILL DESIGNATE WHAT PART OF THE HOSPITAL 1/3 OF NEXT YEARS PROCEEDS WILL GO TO!! 1/3 of this year's proceeds are going to HEART research & care as designated by the 2017 Biggest team of 52-  RUN MMC/Mystic Runners.  

Best Costume! 

Custom event Medal for every participant as they cross the finish line. 

Trophies/medals can be claimed at the awards ceremony.  We do not ship.

8:30 am -10:30 am On site Registration- CASH OR CHECK ONLY ON SITE. 

10:15am- Our Party in the streets begins with pre-race warm up & stretch on the FIELD OF DREAMS!

10:30am- KIDS FUN RUN!  around the Field of Dreams!

11:00am SHARP – 5th Annual Running of the Leprechauns 5k run begins! 

11:30-2pm – St. Patrick's Day after-party- Hot Beef Stew, Pizza fresh Irish Bread, beer and lively entertainment by Irish Band and GOULDING Irish Dancers! 

12:15 pm awards presentation inside.

Early packet pickup events will happen for those that are registered by MARCH 1st. The location is Cosmopolitan Real Estate 23 Salem Street, Medford.

POSTPONEMENT, CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY: 
You may transfer your registration but there are no refunds. In the event of inclement weather, the event may be postponed to another date. No refunds will be issued due to conflicts with the postponement date. If RACE must cancel the event due to circumstances beyond our control, or change location no refunds will be issued. Please remember, all proceeds go to charity.
